These figures virtually match the petrol version for power and torque when running on 95 octane fuel. The new injection set up is accompanied by new light weight pistons and rings, a higher compression ratio of 12.0:1 and other modifications that improve power and economy. The ZF six-speed auto is an optional extra, the XR6 series having a five-speed as standard. From July 2010 all I6 engines (excluding E-Gas models) meet Euro 4 emission standards.
